Elcogen signs contract with French clean hydrogen technology venture Genvia

We are pleased to share the news about signing a supply and R&D collaboration agreement with the French company Genvia. The contract follows on our two years of successful cooperation and strengthens our further collaboration in solid oxide electrolyser commercialisation and enables achieving our goals under the Important Project of Common European Interest.

Enn Õunpuu, CEO of Elcogen: “We are excited to strengthen our cooperation with Genvia in regards of our highly efficient solid oxide electrolyser cells (SOEC) technology. As both companies are also contributing to the Important Project of Common European Interest (IPCEI) under the Hy2 Tech initiative, the contract helps us to further collaborate with the goal to accelerate the production of affordable green hydrogen in the EU.”

This contract will help us to strengthen the development of the European value chain toward world’s most high-performance electrolysers.”
