What makes Elcogen’s solid oxide fuel cell technology more efficient than other alternatives?
At this year’s World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition, Hydrogen Standard interviewed our CCO, Hanna Granö-Fabritius, to explore how Elcogen’s solid oxide technology is helping to accelerate the clean energy transition. From green steelmaking to off-grid EV charging, Hanna shared how our high-efficiency SOFC and SOEC solutions are enabling industries to decarbonise with greater affordability and performance.
She highlighted Elcogen’s significant scale-up plans, including our new production facility in Estonia that will expand our annual capacity from 10 MW to 360 MW by 2026. As global momentum builds around green hydrogen, Hanna also discussed how our SOEC technology is well-positioned to support cost-effective hydrogen production and industrial applications, while demand for our SOFC systems continues to grow – especially across APAC and Europe.
The conversation also touches on new strategic collaborations and involvement in major demonstration projects that are pushing the bar. Watch the full interview for more on how we’re scaling up and shaping the next chapter of the hydrogen economy and emission-free electricity today.
