Elcogen hosted former Estonian Prime minister and current Vice-President of the European Commission Mr Andrus Ansip.
The main topic of the meeting was how to better integrate SOFC and hydrogen technology to improve the energy security and energy efficiency of the Member States in the EU. Both sides emphasized the need to increase the joint efforts of the private sector, local government, the state and the European Union to bring new technologies of energy production to consumers faster.
Elcogen’s CEO, Enn Õunpuu, highlighted that Elcogen’s financing agreement with the European Investment Bank is a good example of how private sector and the European Union can cooperate for the resource-efficient and climate-resilient future.
