Elcogen’s core values are oriented around our people. This was recognised when we were awarded the Good Work Environment 2021 Award by the Estonian Labour Inspectorate. Now in its seventh year, the awards recognise companies that prioritise health and safety of employees, highlighting those who have exceeded legal requirements and set a best practice example in employee welfare.

Elcogen views the wellbeing of our employees as a priority above all else, and we value their input into our working practices across all layers of the business. We are proud to note zero lost time incidents in 2021.

Elcogen’s values and culture guides the Group’s objectives and strategy. The oversight and accountability structures vested in the Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee provide constructive guidance to our management team which filters throughout the Group. Our gender diversity has improved in the last 12 months, and I am confident that this will have an ongoing positive impact on corporate culture.

Where possible, we also look to adopt these values in our relations with customers and suppliers, compliance and internal controls, employee management, engagement and reward systems, and responsibility to the environment and local community.
