Christopher Nash
Non-Executive Chairman
Chris is an experienced Chair in the environment, energy and transport sectors, as well as medical imaging AI and biopharma. His current positions include Chair of Blackford Analysis and previously, amongst others, Chair of Celtic Renewables, SENSE Wind, Gasrec Limited and Senior Independent Non-executive Director of HUTCHMED. Over the past decades he has been an active investor in and advisor to early-stage companies deploying new, disruptive technology.
Carolyn Clarke
Independent Non-executive Director & Audit, Risk and Sustainability Committee Chair
Carolyn brings more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of finance, audit, risk and control. In addition to this appointment, she is a Non-executive Director of Starling Bank and Agilyx AS. Carolyn was previously the Head of Audit, Risk and Control and a member of the senior leadership team at Centrica Plc. Prior to that she was a partner at PwC where she established the firm’s offices in Mongolia.
JJ Traynor
Non-executive Director
Dr JJ Traynor has extensive experience in energy, capital markets, project management, and M&A. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner at HydrogenOne Capital, the first London-listed fund investing in clean hydrogen for a positive environmental impact. Prior to that, he has held a series of senior energy and banking sector positions, including Executive Vice President at Royal Dutch Shell, where he led investor relations and established the company’s ESG programme; Managing Director at Deutsche Bank, where he was the number one ranked analyst in European and Global oil & gas; Geologist at BP, in the North Sea, West Africa and Asia Pacific. He has a Geology BSc from Imperial College, a PhD from Cambridge University. He attended the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme and is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London.
Seokjoo Kang
Non-executive Director
With a robust background in management within the manufacturing sector, Saekjoo has dedicated his career to optimizing operations, particularly in the automotive and electronics industries. Saekjoo served as the Head of the Global Strategy Team at Hyosung Group’s Industrial Materials PG from 2010 to 2013, and then as the Chief Strategy Officer at Global Safety Textiles GmbH, a Hyosung Group subsidiary, until 2016. This paved the way for his leadership as Vice President and President of Global Safety Textiles Mexico, also a Hyosung Group subsidiary, from 2016 to 2018. Subsequently, Saekjoo served as Executive Vice President and Head of RF Business at Gigalane Inc. from 2018 to 2021. Currently, he holds the position of Executive Vice President at HD Hyundai, leading the Corporate Planning Office with a focus on driving strategic initiatives.
Raimondo Giavi
Non-executive Director
Raimondo Giavi joined Baker Hughes in 2019 as head of strategy. With a total of 30+ years of global experience in energy and industrial sectors as VP/General Manager/MD, he is currently leading the scale-up of the hydrogen business within the Climatech Solution division of Baker Hughes. Raimondo holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering (Italy), an MBA (US), a Master’s in Finance (US), a post-graduate diploma in digital business (MIT/Columbia), and various general management programs (UoM & Thunderbird).
Vesa Sadeharju
Non-executive Director
Vesa has significant private sector experience in the technology industry. Specifically, he has over 25 years’ experience investing in early-stage companies and 15 years in the electrical engineering sector. Current directorships include Merus Power Oyj and Norsepower Oy. He has been a Director of Elcogen AS since 2008.
Andreas Laane
Non-executive Director
Long career in banking sector leads back to year 1996. First started as Customer Relationship Manager in various banks – Bank of Tallinn, Merita Bank and Nordea Bank. Then 2005-2007 proceeded in Nordic Investment Bank in Helsinki as Area Manager of Poland and the Baltics region. 2007-2012 Head of Corporate Banking and Member of the Board and 2012–2014 Chairman of the Board in Nordea Bank Estonia branch. 2014-2021 CEO and Chairman of the Management Board in Alexela Group. 2015-2021 Member of the Supervisory Board in Graanul Invest. Starting from 2022 until now Managing Director of Family office Biofuel.
Enn Õunpuu
Chief Executive Officer
Enn has over 30 years of experience starting up companies. Enn’s experience in the energy services and equipment, construction, real estate and banking industries has included a number of listed company transactions. He founded Elcogen in 2001.
Markus Holm
Chief Financial Officer
Markus Holm has extensive experience as a CFO across both public and private companies, including Sanoma Corporation, where he acted as CFO and COO from 2017 to 2022 and Metsä Group, where he acted as CFO for Metsä Board Corporation from 2014 to 2016 and Metsä Tissue Corporation from 2008 to 2013. Prior to this Markus held a position as Finance and ICT Director for GlaxoSmithKline and various managerial positions in Huhtamaki Group. Markus is also a Board member of VR Group, the sustainable Finnish transport, logistics and maintenance company, a position he has held since March 2022. Markus holds an M.Sc. Econ. from Hanken School of Economics, Helsinki.

Stefano Piscitelli
Chief Operations Officer
Stefano has over 20 years of industrial experience in energy, infrastructure and engineering. Whilst Vice President at Northvolt, Stefano played a key role in delivering the first European homegrown Lithium-ion Gigafactory. Prior to Northvolt, Stefano held several executive and general management positions focusing on operation and delivery of large international contracts in the EMEA region. Stefano holds a Master’s degree in Engineering.
Hanna Granö-Fabritius
Chief Commercial Officer
Prior to joining Elcogen in 2020, Hanna held several Director level roles within Thermo Fisher Scientific focusing on product management, marketing, commercialization and development in the Life Science and Material Science sectors. She has successfully brought several novel product and software platforms to the market. Hanna brings more than 20 years of experience within international business and commercialization to this appointment. Hanna holds a M.Sc. degree from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University).
Martin Skjøth-Rasmussen
Chief Technology Officer
Martin has over 20 years of experience in the chemicals industry including in catalysts, processes and technologies concerning hydrogen and syngas generation, including the conversion into derivatives such as ammonia, methanol, DME, synthetic gasoline and diesel. Previously, Martin was a fuel concepts manager at Mærsk and a Vice President at Haldor Topsøe. Martin holds a Ph.D. focused on chemical engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
